1:How to Take first Step in Life

How to take first step in life?

First step towards success:
There comes a time for many of us when we accept that we need to make a
change in our lives. That we need to include something else or remove something
from our lives. That we need to change jobs or careers, leave a relationship or
build a community, sail across the Pacific, or learn to tango or bake or paint.
Have you ever heard the saying “Well begun is half done” from Aristotle? The
man knew what he was talking about. Half the challenge in doing anything is
getting started doing it. Many of us have hundreds of ideas in our head of things
we want to accomplish or incorporate into our lives but, for the most part, we
haven’t done any of them.
Importance of first step:
The first step in any new project is often the hardest. At the beginning, the idea
exists only in your mind with no tangible manifestations of it, and therefore no
“proof” that it can be achieved. Our human nature is vulnerable to self doubt and
fear, making our seedling idea susceptible to “it’ll never happen” or “it won’t be
successful” types of thought patterns. This is what makes our first steps so
important. The first step marks a decision, a new direction; it declares that we will
go forward despite our fears or self-doubt. The first step gives us momentum and
belief in our project, whether its starting a personal hobby blog or an entire new
business. I work with a lot of new bloggers and hopeful online entrepreneurs who
come to me because they have a gap in their technical knowledge and that is
preventing them moving forward. For some people the act of contacting me and
setting up an appointment is an important step for them in signifying their
commitment to their idea, and getting the knowledge they need in order to
implement it. The lack of technical knowledge is often one of the first blocks
people come up against and fortunately it’s one of the easiest blocks to remove,
but often lurking behind it are mental blocks that are more entrenched.
Why so hard to take first step?

That’s true with most everything that we aim to accomplish – that first step is
always the hardest to complete because you have zero momentum. You have to
pick up out of nowhere and begin. Oftentimes, you may not even know where to
begin so you avoid the task or project altogether.
SMART goals towards your success
The SMART acronym outlines a strategy for reaching any objective. SMART goals
are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and anchored within a Time Frame.
Four Steps to Achieving Your Goals
Step 1: Determine your goal.
Step 2 : Visualize your goal.
Step 3: Create your plan and write it down.
Step 5: Follow your plan.
Online earning

With a situation involving more time at home and/or more free time in general,
maybe fewer working hours for some, some of you might have some free time on
hands. Here are online platforms, websites and tools that can help you earn
money online.
1; Freelancing
Freelancing has always been a popular way to earn money online and the Internet
has several options. There are several websites offering freelance tasks for people
with varying skills. All you need to do is to create an account, browse through the
listings, and apply for the task that suits you. Some websites may even require
you to create a personal listing with the details of your skillset, so that interested
clients can contact you directly. Outfiverr.com, upwork.com, freelancer.com, and
worknhire.com are some websites that provide freelance jobs. You can earn
anywhere between $5 and $100 through these websites.

2; Starting your own website:
There is enough material available online to help you put together a website. This
includes choosing the domain, templates, layout and the overall design for your

website. Once ready to service the visitors with the relevant content, sign up for
Google Adsense, which when appear on your website and clicked on by visitors,
help you make money. The more traffic you get on your website, the more will be
the potential for higher earnings.

3; Affiliate marketing:
Once your website is up and running, you could opt for affiliate marketing by
allowing companies to insert web links on to your site. This is like a symbiotic
partnership. When visitors to your site buy products or services by clicking on
such links, you earn out from it.
4; Virtual assistantship:
Doing all the corporate stuff from one’s home is what a virtual assistant (VA)
does. Vas basically work remotely with their clients and manage the aspects of
their business that they are too busy to handle themselves. When you work as a
virtual assistant, you can choose to work as an employee or you can set up your
own business.
5; Online tutoring
If you are an expert in a particular subject, you can earn by tutoring people online.
Online tutoring provides a means to connect online with students of all ages,
across the country to provide homework help and tutoring in the subjects for
which you have demonstrated expertise.
Lastly, the best thing you can do is start right now. It’s so easy to put off starting
to another time. That’s why we often don’t get anywhere with our goals. The best
time to start something new isn’t tomorrow, on a Monday, on the first day of a
month, or on New Year’s Day, but right now. So get that idea out of your head
that you need a special time to start and just do it right this moment.
Now that you have the tools to get yourself started, write down a couple things
you want to do and then take note of small ways you can begin today. Get going!
